    Hi
    i just saw that every pc have a different ascii tables...
    How can i generate my own list - to see what are the codes for my specific symboles...?

    Different PCs do not have different ascii tables. The whole point is that it is standard. I'm curious as to what you found that led you to that conclusion.

    I have 3 pc's... every one gave me different chars... (!)
    [when numlock is on & i'm holding ALT & click 3 number code at the right keyboard side...]

    how can i view my pc ascii table? is there a program/dos command for that?

    Go to this site for the codes, they are going to be the same for everything computer related, it's a code set up to represent all the letters and numbers you use. The only difference any where it what letter/symbol is represented for different cultures. (i.e. english, asian, etc.)

    and this is my problem! it showing me chars in hebrew [my language] BUT i want to type with special german chars!

    ok, the solution is to go to acceosries-->system tools-->char map
    ;-)
    but how can i assign a special char to a key or a combination of keys? [if i'll press "~" then i'll get ascii char number 128 for example...]
