Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get on the road to become a writer/storyboard artist for video games. I have one particular idea that would be my eventual goal to make reality but for now I would love to collaborate with other people in the business because I love writing and I think gaming offers itself to a unique narrative. Unfortunately I lack skills such as programming, coding and I’ve never had a console long enough to really get into gaming, I just admire it from afar, (Youtube). After two more years at university, I want to have a backup career to my probable lab researcher career. I know it’s not an easy aspiration but I am willing to work at it for a long time so does anyone know where I should begin? Thank You.

Well, I have seen Blizzard advertising they want people. There are a few Art and design positions listed.

I don't know where you are but they have other regions such as Europe and Asia.

You say you have 2 years to go... They have internships as well. http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/careers/university.html

I really have no idea what it is like to work for them but they are a huge world wide company, worth a look.
