    when i try to access internet explorer a window appears and it says

    Assert in LSP

    false

    Failed to intialize mutex. Err=5

    c:\src\googleclient\total_recall_r4_en\common\shared_memory_ptr.h:188

    and the options are Abort, Retry, and Ignore

    when i click abort another window pops up

    Assert in LSP

    shared_data_!= NULL

    NULL object pointer being dereferenced

    c:\src\googleclient\total_recall_r4_en\common\shared_memory_ptr.h:101

    and when i press abort again, internet explorer opens, but kicks me out in a few minutes
    ignore does the same thing
    retry does nothing
    however, firefox does work, but i prefer IE

    I have the same problem. If you use a web page other than google.com as your home page, the IE will work after you click "Abort" on the two error messages. I am aslo looking for a solution to this annoying problem.
