ASSUS A7M266 MB Help

    I'm using an Assus A7m266 MB and just bougth a Assus 9560/td w ith 256 DDR 400 memory video card..It's a FX 5660..

    I've been having some problems lately..Like some games that used to play..are having trouble now.

    Anyway my question is Would using this new card with this MB cause a problem.. My MB is DDR266 Memory and the card is DDR
    400 memory would this cause a problem?

    I using 98SE
    512 ddr 266 memory

    Bios drivers are 1.04a


    I noticed bios 1.07 aded geforce 4 suuport function
    would i need this for this card?

    On second thought, if you don't want to use the chatroom or cant, here is some info:

    No, the onboard memory and graphics chip memory don't have to synchronize.
    You can try to download the latest driver from the graphic's card's manufacturer (Nvidia).
    What games exactly are you having trouble with?
    Updating the BIOS should be the VERY LAST thing you do, only is everything else fails.
