Quick question... hope somebody can help:

I'm running an Asus P2Bf motherboard in my PC. When I built the machine, I installed a Celeron 400 chip. I'd like to upgrade but I need some advice on what to upgrade to. Asus hints that any compatible PIII chip will work. Any body out there have experience with this board--care to offer an opinion?

    Thanks mucho,
    Mark Simpson

Depends on which board revision you have, I would look at the board and find the revision number and email asus

You will need a bios flash to get the latest supported processors.

Asus state p3 support for coppermine depending on board and bios revision.
