Is it home-built or a commercial PC? If commercial, what make and model number?
Are you able to get into BIOS or not? Have you tried re-setting BIOS, either by using the jumper for this function or by removing the CMOS battery for about half an hour? (If you do remove the battery, don't damage the holder and ensure you replace the battery the right way up).
Did it ever work properly? If so, how long for? Were the motherboards identical or different makes and/or models?
Have you made a fresh installation of Windows XP for the current motherboard or are you trying to run a hard drive with an old installation of XP that was set up on a different motherboard from the one you have now?
With 3 dead motherboards, the most likely cause is a defective power supply.
