I have just got new Asus X555LA with "FreeDos", Installed windows 7 on it.
*but* i cant find drivers for windows 7, only 8 (and they not work, I have checked).

    I installed windows 7 on a lot of pc's- never didn't manage.
Search in google don't show nothing.

    What can I do?
    Thanks in advanced.

Thanks, I already reached this site.
But I download the file and it not contain any drivers, there is "DriversFree.org.exe" file- I don't think that this file contains drivers.

Asus didn't ship this machine with Windows 7, so didn't provide drivers for it. You will have to find the exact spec of the hardware and source correct drivers one by one.

If you really can't bring yourself to try Windows 8.1, you could go for a Linux distro such as Mint or Ubuntu, they're both pretty user friendly and support a wide variety of hardware.

I already done that (search the drivers by the id of the product).
Doesn't really work good.. (the computer is slow and other).

If i install windows 8 (i didn't buy one with the laptop), it is a problem? because of the embedded product key in the bios?
or i can do it fairly easy?

This is the first time I learned that product keys are embedded in BIOS nowadays. I think I may be out of my depth here and hope somebody more experienced than I will come along and help you.

How did you install Windows 7, did you purchase a product key or transferred one from an old laptop? Is there a Windows 7 or Windows 8 sticker on the laptop?
