Asus x556u won't turn on

    hello there
    i forced shut down my asus x556u with the power button and then this happens :
    my laptop turns on automatically when i plug the power cord.
    i use the power button to turn it off but it just turn on again once released
    there is no display and i can't hear the hdd to be working.
    the power led is on while the battery indictor led is flashing every ~5 sec
    the fan is working fine
    any suggestions and thank you

    Try a different power socket in the wall.
    The blinking orange battery status means it has less than 10% charge left.
    Maybe the adapter is malfunctioning.

    ps : it keep blinking white even when i removed the battery but the power led is fine .

    can you still confirm it's an adapter issue ?

    I looked up the manual, and it only gives a very short explanation of how it is supposed to work. Sorry can't help you. Call the laptop tech support.

    some how , i've noticed that it's a bios failure (corrupted bios chip)
