    Hi,

I just put my old computer back together, when I get this neat little error...I've exhausted all my methods of problem solving and well, I still have a problem. That problem is, whenever I have my monitor attached to the radeon, and set the resolution to 1024X768, the computer restarts. It runs perfect on 800X600, and it works with 1024X768 with the onboard card. I don't show the onboard video in the device manager, and I'm not totally sure it's disabled, causing me this problem. Windows has the most updated driver for my card installed.

Good Evening JTM, you need to carefully read your motherboard manual and set it accordingly. your memory is probably also affected.

try the least aggressive agp settings in the bios, particularly disable fast write.

im thinking the card itself is overheating, i know at alot of LAn tournaments i go to, we always have problems with the 9000 serioes ATI cards overheating. check that first then worry about mobo settings.

Good Afternoon Chaps, you don't think the onboard video may be involved in any way?
