How do you get rid of leftover ATT Logo on the Internet Explorer title bar at very top of page?It was left after uninstalling ATT Worldnet online service.I have seen the answer on this site but can't remember where.Probably in the registry

Sorry I wasn't clear on the question,it's the text to the left of the minimize, maximize,X buttons at the top of the screen. It should say Microsoft Internet Explorer,or as my present Title bar says-Tech Support Guy Forums-Reply to Topic-Microsoft Internet Explorer. My friend's says Internet Explorer by ATT-Worldnet.He does not have ATT Worldnet anymore he uninstalled it.It was left behind after the uninstall.

Here's the Microsoft article for this: How to Change the Internet Explorer Window Title

But there's a really cool fix for this as well:

Go to Start/run, paste the following into the box, and click OK:

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

This ought to restore your default IE window title. (I borrowed this one from Mosaic1)

Greetz,

i posted this tip a few weeks ago.
here it is again;)

If you wish you can change the Internet Explorer title to something more appealing than Microsoft Internet Explorer, if you wish to do so take the following steps. Click on Start, Run, type in regedit & hit Enter. Open the following registry key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]. Now Add/Edit a New String Value entitled Window Title. In the Value data field enter your desired title, then hit Ok. NOTE - Using a custom title may interfere with some programs, e.g. AllAdvantage Viewbar (Although they have closed down now so it's not really much of an issue).
You can also change the Outlook Express title by opening the following registry key. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{xxx}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0], where xxx represents the Identity number displayed. Add/Edit a New String Value entitled WindowTitle. Right click on this setting & select Modify. In the Value data field enter your desired title, then hit Ok.

have fun
:p
