    I have just upgraded my IE6 to 6 sp1
I am using OE to read and acheive my hotmail. my problem now is that ever since the upgrade, attachment that's not .doc, .xls will be automatically removed. Can some one help me?

I cannot read a very important pdf file.

    Thanks

Have you tried adding your Hotmail account to Outlook Express? You can add Hotmail accounts easily in OE. Click Tools/Accounts/Mail/Add and follow the directions.

See if it works that way. :)

Yes, I've added hotmail into my OE. I no problem receiving and sending email out. The only problem now are emails with an attachment that's reveicved cannot be read other than .doc & .xls files.

It's like there's a filter or something. The message is:
"OE removed accessto the following unsafe attachemnt in your mail"

    Pls help.

Sorry about my goof in not reading your initial post carefully and seeing that you ARE using OE! Duh on my part! :)

    Try this:

Go to Tools...Options...Security and uncheck the box that says: "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.''

Good luck - hope that helps!!
