What's going on? The last two days has seen every second or third page view being the "this page cannot be displayed" page. Sometimes hitting BACK gets me to the page I wanted rather than the page I previously looked at. Then when I try again it all goes OK.......for another few pages and then it happens again.

I run AVG antivirus every night. I've logged out, logged back in. Run Adaware, Spybot. Deleted temp files and cookies. Turned the 'puter completely off. Disconnected, reconnected. BUT IT IS STILL HAPPENING!

I will even copy/paste this post as the first time I try to submit it, I just know it is going to say "this page cannot be displayed".

Any ideas what might be happening?

As predicted!

Hit BACK, hit submit thread, and it all went OK the second time.

Now, as for this reply post.........

Tried everything on the links but still no joy.

Did a system restore back to last Sunday (when I didn't have this problem) and this morning the problem is still here.

I had a lot of trouble just getting to this post to reply and I suppose I will need to try three times to submit this post.

OE is working OK though!

I compared HJT logs with one I did in March and no difference except for the iTunes entries.

What else could it be???????? It's driving me crazy.....

Only got to the first step of the instructions i.e. running the command that scans to check all the IE6 components were there. I saw the scan in progress but it never came back with another message to say everything was OK or any further instructions.

BUT now the problem has been resolved. Have not seen another of those dreaded "this page cannot be displayed" since.

Thanks for your help.
