Hi everyone,
My boyfriend is in the US and I am in the Philippines. Our mode of communication is through video chat, most of the time - we use Skype. We want to feel being somehow with each other on Christmas by doing special things like watching a movie together through the use of screen sharing feature of Skype. Since my internet connection here in the Philippines is slow, when I am the one sharing my screen to him, the video tends to buffer. We are unable to watch the movie completely. My boyfriend has a better internet connection in the USA, so he tried sharing his screen to me instead. The problem is, I cant hear the audio of his movie on my end. We never had that problem when I am the one sharing. He can hear mine very clearly. I already consulted a technician to see if my laptop has a problem, but there is none. I tried calling others through Skype and asked them to play something on their end and I am able to hear them too. We also checked the settings of his computer but the technician says that his settings are okay. Can someone please help us figure out what to do with his computer? The technician wasn't able to give us any resolution, sad to say. Thank you in advance.
