It says "no audio output device is installed"...i have checked the bios and cant find nothing, also been on toshiba website to see if i could download the audio/sound driver and some reason i cant seem to find the driver for this? can anyone help please? i have checked the whole system and nothing is working for audio. Has anyone got any links i could try?

Windows 7 tends to be very good at finding a generic driver for 99% of hardware without having to install anything. I presume nothing is listed in device manager? If it was just the driver not installed as Amd_Man suggests I'd still expect it to be listed in device manager as an "unknown device".

Are you certain that it is enabled in the BIOS? It may be hidden under several sub-menu's.

Windows 7 is not driver friendly on older systems such as this one. Audio and graphics drivers always seem to be an issue with older systems.
