I have just finished writing a thesis, but have decided to put an auto header on every page (MsWord). So far, as I enter the auto header into the first page, that's all I get. How do I get it to auto header every page?

Double click in the header area, then when the header, footer opens on the toolbar click same as previous if you want all headers to be the same.

Every page? I'm talking 400 pages.

No, just do it on one page and it will carry over to the rest.

Or go up to the tool bar and select View, Header/Footer. Anything put in either the header or footer should flow through the document.

Thanks all! The way it finally worked for me was to just click View and then header and footer, and enter the header.
