    Hey everyone,

I have AutoCad 2002, I have just re-installed XP Pro about 2 months ago and things just have not been installing right. I am trying to install autocad and keep getting "Error 1335".

Anyone get stuck with this error before? Its not the CD because I installed it before and it worked fine, and the CD hasnt been touched since. Any help please let me know.

There is a few with this problem, trying to install a variety of programs.

One inventive solution was to set the CD as PIO and not DMA. It slows it down a bit, but for some unknown reason it can work. Its also easy and free, which helps.

Apparently XP is fussier with CD readers. Try it and see.
