I have Autodesk AutoCAD 2005 installed on my Dell 8100 Inspiron notebook. I currently utilize Win XP with SP2.

I recently downloaded Service Pack 1 from the Autodesk Website. When I installed the SP, AutoCAD refuses to load and repeatedly loads the "activate software" dialog box. I entered the authorization/serial number and AutoCAD does not recognize it and it again loads the "activate software" dialog box rendering AutoCAD useless.

I used the same authorization/serial I used upon initial installation and AutoCAD does not recognize it.

    Anyone know whats going on?

    Thanks!
