Anybody see anything here that needs to be changed, deleted, or added to improve performance?

    Autoexec.bat can be completely disabled.
    Start>>Run>>Msconfig
    Selective startup, uncheck autoexec.bat.

Brendan is right...Windows doesn't need the autoexec.bat file.

However, if you run any games or programs that require sound in DOS, you will need the autoexec.bat file to load your sound card drivers in DOS.

I see nothing in your autoexec.bat that should slow your system down...if there are no prolems, I would leave it alone.

What is in your CONFIG.SYS file? It's likely that nothing in there is needed either. Of all the Windows 98 computers that I've dealt with(including my own), nothing has been needed in either the AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS files.
