    Hi

A mate of mine has been having some problems with this file , a program exe he trys running kept giving an error refering to this file ... so i asked him to check the systerm32 folder for this file but it was not in there but it was in the repair folder and also a folder called some thing like l386 , i asked him to copy and paste the one from the repair folder into the system 32 folder and this program was ok ... but when he reboots this file is not in the system32 folder any more .

Any ideas how to keep it there .?

Right click the file>properties> and select "read only".
