I have a Dell several years old running XP and SP 3. Several years ago I was able to arrange to have my computer turn on at a set time every morning. It worked fine and never failed. Now I want to remove the automatic start up feature but I can not remember how I got to the site so I can remove that feature. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Enter the BIOS setup at startup and check the power options.
You should be able to disable it there.

Thank you very much. IT was exactly where you said it would be. Always nice to have people who share their knowledge.
I bought a new Dell inspiron 580 with Win 7. I will keep my XP as a back up. I would hate to have it turn itself on every morning. Thanks once again
