Hi, I have a WD Passport 320gb and upon plugging it into a computer at college today it was infected with a virus, I'm quite sure it's an autorun.inf file.

Since then everytime I try to access the HDD it comes up as an unreadable partition and freezes majority of programs that try to access it (Explorer, CMD, Winrar). It can't be scanned with AVG either. Occasionally when explorer won't freeze it says
    "E;/ Is not accessible
    Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)"
I know the data still exists since it can be read on my Wii.

I am aware I can delete the partition but the issue is that it has all my college work on their and I need to retrieve it urgently as Im close to finishing my course.

    Is there anyway to either
    A) Fix the HDD to be readable without deleting the partition
    B) Retrieve data from the HDD.

    Thank you for your help.
