i keep getting this message halfway through instalation of avg
pro.....

Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avg7rsw.sys: changing service config....
The specified service has been marked for deletion. (1072)

i know I've deleted something i shouldn,t have.Ive tried recovery
I've tried uninstall/reinstall but still keep getting the same
message.I've got the right serial-it starts installing fine. then it
does a rollback and the error message pops up.ill see if i get
any advice then try a restore.

If you are updating from AVG 6 to AVg 7 then uninstall 6 first, reboot & try

if youve done this before ONLY IF YOUVE DONE THIS BEFORE, KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT IT, KNOW WHAT IS click run, enter regedit
search for any keys related to avg,, and delete em. and, remember to bakup the reistry first. then and only THEN press alt-ctrl-del, click on processes, and end all processes related to avg. then, try installing. i had the exact same problem with pc-cillin 2003. did this is and worked fine...
