    AVG icon in Systray has disappeared. When I click on main icon on D/top, AVG doesn't open and this message appears;

    "Memory access violation in Kernel32 at 4217:81278921"

    Everything else on PC seems to be ok. Any suggestions?

    Go to Start\Programs\AVG 6.0 Anti-Virus System\AVG 6.0 For Windows. If it opens click on "Control Center" the click on "Activate" and this will put the icon back in the system tray.

    You can also go to the AVG program folder and click on Avgw.exe and open it.
