I wish to back up 20 folders each having 100 photo's in each folder. I would like to move them ( copy) to an external drive. Is there a way I can do this by keeping folders intact and not moving individual photo's ?
My last move all photo's were removed from folders and I had to sort them out to put them back in folders where they belonged.

In Windows Explorer hold down the Ctrl key and select the folders you want to move by clicking on them, then release Ctrl, then hold Ctrl down again and press the C key, go to the external drive, click on the folder you want to save to and hold Ctrl down and press the V key and the copy will commence.

This should copy the folders and the photos keeping the folder and file names the same.
