Hi, I used vista backup and restore centre to make a backup of a failing system, prior to reloading Vista from Factory settings. I put the backup on a networked PC and I can see the files and the backup sets. I have succesfully reloaded Vista and now I am trying to restore from this backup and I get no backup sets found.
    Can anyone help please

I believe you have to import them. Then run the restore.

Thanks, by import do you mean transfer the friles onto the original computer by using Windows Easy Transfer?

I have now got the files on the original computer and can see the back-up sets. They are zipped. Restore still does not recognise them. Any further ideas?

If you can see the files you want simply right click "copy" and then go to where you want to put them and go right click "paste". There should be no need to use a "restore" notation.
