This question is not really OS-specific, but I happen to have XP Home, so I'm putting it here. Is there any good, free software I can use to back up my hard drive to DVD's? (I'd like to be able to use them like restore disks, so I can just put them in and copy the OS, data, programs, etc. without registry problems.) Thanks!

It sounds like you're talking about drive imaging software more than a backup program. I can't help with drive imaging software, I haven't used any. If you just want to back up the important data in your computer, however, that program is on your Windows XP install disc, and can be added to your Windows XP Home system. It's not too complicated a procedure, and has the advantage of being free, as you mentioned. :)
