Hello,
I have a computer that I believe was victim to a power surge. When I boot the computer it goes to the screen asking if I would like to boot windows in safe mode safe mode with networking, etc. when I make my selection it freezes. So I pulled the hard drive and hooked it up external to another computer with usb to saga cables. I am able to get to the root of the drive but when I go into documents and settings and choose user I get access denied and it says the folder is empty. I am able to access another user folder that is on the hard drive though. Am I out of luck or does anyone have advice for me?
Thanks,
