My power supply went bad after a lightning storm so I had it replaced. Not even a month later my computer stopped working again. Nothing will turn on but there is a green light lit up on the power supply. Not sure what is wrong.

You can try unplugging the power cord, push the power on button a couple of times then plug it back up to see if it comes on.

It is very possible that other parts ie motherboard, ram, etc were damaged during the pw surge.
IMO a pw supply tester is not a definitive test of the pw supply. It does not test the unit under a load. The very best pw supply test is to swap in a known good pw supply. Do understand that if a pw supply tester shows your pw supply as OK, it can still be the cause of problems.

I saw that suggestion somewhere and tried it with no luck.

I looked at the power supply tester but it costs almost as much as a new power supply. So I am just going to buy a new power supply and if that doesn't work I will probably just look into replacing the computer. It's ten years old so it is probably just time to.
