Greetings! I haven't had the need to post here for so long but found the fdj.exe folder in my "C" main folder, and also probably a separate situation links.exe occasionally tries to get through my zone alarm firewall. Any help? I ran Adaware and SpyBot S&D but they did not see them. Here is my HJT log:

    Here's what I did-
As you see in the first HiJackThis post this was mentioned: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [links] links.exe
I checked it and had it fixed by HJT and rebooted.
I looked in the C: folders and found the fdj.exe still mentioned so I deleted it.
I did a find folders search for links. exe and found a folder in WIndows/ system- It would not delete because it said it was in use by Windows. I booted into safemode and deleted the Links.exe through the find files meathod. Another re-boot.
I now do not find mention of the fdj.exe or the Links.exe on my system. The interesting this is that both folders when they existed had the same icon image so I knew they were related. (They both looked like a cartoon character that looked a lot like Marilynn Monroe!)
I suppose I will just wait a bit and see if the Zone Alarm "trying to connect" warning goes away refering to "Links" Don't know where I got this, and I read the link Rugrat provided.
That's it for now unless there are other suggestions. Posting this now Pacific time 9:55 pm.

    Run ActiveScan online virus scan:
    http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm

When the scan is finished, anything that it cannot clean have it delete it.
Make a note of the file location of anything that cannot be deleted so you can delete it yourself.
Save the results from the scan and post them here.

It won't let me run the scan. It must have a pop up or something. I just get a bleep bleep and it goes no where. Thanks tho, I'll try other sites and see if I get the same thing.

How about Kaspersky online virus scan: http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

When the scan is finished, it usually does not give you any option to clean them.
Save the results from the scan and post them here.
