Basic C++ error

    H:\Comp Programming\C++ Chapters\Chapter 2\Chapter 2.cpp(9) : error C2601: 'accept3' : local function definitions are illegal

    any ideas

    Nevermind. I'm an idiot. This error results from defining one function inside the body of another function. It usually means that you omitted one or more } symbols in the function just before the function named in the error message
