Battery replacement

Where can I find the data thats in my CMOS that willl be lost
when I replace the battery, and how do I re-enter it after
the battery is replaced? Thanks

Break out your paper and pencil......

Go into your bios, and go to each and every page....and write EVERYTHING down.

Hi Rafty,
Definitly do what AcaCandy says ,but sometimes if you can replace the battery quick enough you wont lose anything. Have the new battery ready when you pull the old one out.( Be sure to ground yourself) Just a Thought!

I found the SETUP UTILITY and copied all the information.
Will also try the quick change option.
