    I think my battery is dying in my computer, the clock and calender keep loosing time and days. will this cause any other problems? is there anything special I have to do to put in a new one?

    A dying battery can cause more trouble than just losing time. The are usually easy to replace except for some systems (generally older ones), that have the battery soldered to the motherboard. This may help you

    CMOS Battery

    Replacement batteries are usually not hard to find. Computer stores, Radio Shack and many online dealers may carry them.
