Battle Feild 1942 No Online Games

yesterday i tried to play battlefield 1942 online but it wouldn't let me connect. I tried updating the list and nothing happens no servers appear it is totally blank. I am so confused i already uninstalled it and installed it again and still the same thing and worst is now it has spreaded to my instant messenger program where i cant connect to it. Yet i can connect to the web and surf it.

Hey Frost,
Make sure your Firewall is not blocking the connection.

You could Temporarily shutdown the firewall and see if it connects.
