Hello everyone, I was about to create a new battle.net account so I can purchase Starcraft 2 and play it on the multi-player battle.net servers, but before I created a new account I just wanted to know this:
--Is it possible for other users on battle.net to see which email address I'm using or can they only see my "Starcraft 2 in-game name"?
Battle net uses a screen name of sorts, the battle tag. Uses a name and number for people to find you.
I played WoW for years and it has gotten much better, far fewer random requests, they pretty much need to know your battle tag to contact you. They no longer see/use your email to find you.
I play SC and D3 (bit of D2, warcraft, and a few others) and your email address is NEVER available to others. the closest it comes is giving you an option to include your real name, and you can limit that in terms of who sees it.
BNet does not give any info about anyone- you have a screen name, and thats it.
As a confirmation, I have several accounts and cannot see info about any of them from any of the other accounts, even though I own them all.
