Can anyone help? My installation of Battlefield 1942 cannot see any joysticks, even though they are recognised and configured in Windows. My Direct X is upto date, and i'm using the latest drivers from Logitech. I have tried a virgin install of BF1942, with no sucess and even a complete OS rebuild of my machine!! I am running the latest BF1942 patch released by EA.

When i boot the game and browse to the options screen for controls, i do not even see the joystick registered under the "Air" tab. Anyone any suggestions? I am running XP Home SP1, and i'm losing hair fast

have you tried clicking on the tab in air controls where it says "fire" and then clicking the fire button on your joystick to designate the controls to your joystick. The default is set to your mouse and keyboard
