I've owned this game for 6 months with no problems. Last night i tried going on 3 seperate servers with no luck. Whats happening is after the game loads i take 2 steps in game and my screen goes black and it almost sounds like the game is skipping. I cant control alt delete, alt tab or esc. I have to restart my comp for me to be able to do anything. I know its not my vid card ( nvidia geforce 6600 gt) thats the prob. I played a full game of command & conquer right after with no probs. My video setting are all at medium with the res. at 1024/768 60hz, view distance scale is at 100%

Try increasing page file:

Make sure you have enough RAM to run the game.

Also one more thing, post your dxdiag

You seem to have a kick butt pc! Much better than my Toshiba Satellite m40x................

Try increasing your page file as I said earlier to : Max: 2000MB Initial: ... up higher.... Don't overdo it though. Look to make sure you have enough MB.
