Recently I bought Battlefield 5 on my gaming laptop. I play the game on 900 resolution and with medium settings. I average about 60fps but after 20 - 25 minutes of playing the game starts stuttering and fps is dropping. I have searched everything how to adjust the setting to gain more fps but the stuttering doesn't go away. I know it's better to have a gaming pc than laptop but I dont have the budget to buy a new pc. Should I upgrade my RAM or get a SSD?

Specs:
ASUS ROG GL552VW
GeForce GTX960m
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU
8GB Ram

Are you doing something else while playing the game like surfing with 20 tabs open. Then you could use more RAM. But it may or may not have anything to do with the fps.

No everything is closed but the minimum RAM for the game is 8GB so I thought that that was the problem. I don't know what to do

In that case, I would definitely upgrade to 16GB,
I asked the same question on reddit and they responded that I first needed to check my temps, CPU and GPU usage + RAM usage. I found out that my GPU temperature averages about 60 and CPU and GPU usage averages about 70 - 85%. RAM usage is about 5.8 - 6.2gb. I think the problem really is there
