Battleship Game

    I have an old Battleship game that came out in 1997 for Windows 95.
    I'm trying to play the CLASSIC GAME on a computer with Windows XP.
    It seems to play fine except that when I start a game I can only place my ships VERTICALLY and not HORIZONALLY. Is there a way to correct this????

    If I remember right, you need to press a key to turn the ships. Try space.

    Thanks for the input! I tried that but it doesn't work.
    The book says right-clicking the mouse while you have a ship selected will rotate the ship but that doesn't work either.
