I have a HP Pavilion m7480n. I have been all over the place with this computer(fixing for a friend) Long story short couldn't clean install onto it so i sysprep'ed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit onto a 500g hdd and dropped it in.

Now win 7 starts and "runs" for 5 to 25 mins on average periodically BSOD'ing with a 124 error code.
    ------------------------------------------
I have already eliminated RAM and HDD as culprits.
Ran Windows memory tester and Memtest on multiple sticks all turned out fine.
Ran sfc/scannow and Western Digitals Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows.
    All turned out fine.

This has an external GPU that was the first driver i updated.

I have removed all removable components and cords and reattached them.

I cleaned all areas with compressed air.

Tried windows recovery disc(just hangs indefinitely)

What are the chances this is MOBO and CPU related? If i were to install a new MOBO and CPU could you hypothesize that solving my issue?

    Or the GPU?
    --------------------------------------------
Ok I have installed BIOS 3.17 - No change

Updated my chipset drivers - No change

Installed and ran the Intel INF Update utility - No change

Figuring it might be a heat issue I removed the heat sink and CPU Cleaned both reapplied thermal paste and repositioned. I thought this was it for sure because let me tell you it looked like this computer ran for 7 years in the desert. There was so much dirt build up in the heat sink and fan it wasn't even funny. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/713/1001397i.jpg/

Buut that wasnt it :( Very unfortunate.

SO, I am left with.. not to sure. I have more Dump files since i updated most everything. Maybe someone can take a look and let me know if they say the same things as before minus a few older driver files.

And then best guess of anyone. I can only think MOBO at this point.

Oh one more thing of mention. It seems to help crash windows when i put a load on the system. Like say trying to install KIS2011 Which it gives me an error about this installer being corrupt or something. So i go around that with the CMD.exe /dcrc thing it unpacks files then boom crash everytime.

Your minidump file would not load in my debugger. Upload them to this post using the Manage Attachments at the bottom in Advanced.
