I have a customer that is using Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager. They have an SBS 2003 server, which is running Exchange. Their email is hosted, but they use the Exchange addresses for internal mail. By default, Outlook sends email from their external email address.

When adding a note to a project in BCM, my customer wants to send an email to the project manager, with a read-receipt request. These emails are sent from the local account by default, rather than the external email, causing the recipients to get a NDF error when returning the read-receipt. They can work around this by selecting to send the email from the external account, but it must be done with every note, making it very time-consuming.

Is there a way to set the default send-from account within BCM? We have searched through every menu we can find to no avail. Regular email sends from external by default, but BCM always defaults to local email.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
