    You haven't given us much to go on.

    What steps has Apple Tech already had you gone through?

    Usually first steps in these cases are:

    1) Boot off the OS X DVD, start Disk Utility from the menu bar, and run a Repair Permissions on your boot HD.
    2) While booting holding the shift key down to start in Safe Mode and see if there is any difference.

    I have booted off the dvd and ran repair permission this was suggested by apple tech support

    I also booted in safe mode this did not make any differance
