I have been having trouble for awhile now, computer freezing up and getting the blue screen and this morning when it went off it gave a long beep and a short beep. When I got the computer I made the disk it said to make but not sure which to use, one is the recovery disk and the other is a bootable hardware diagnostic cd creation. I have vista.

I would try the Hardware diagnostic CD first and then go from there.
