I got beeps one time and finally noticed I had a book laying on one of my keys. I moved the book and everything was fine again.
In you case unfortunately I have no idea!

Most beeps codes refer back to the RAM or Video card - try reseating either/both. Try 1 stick of RAM at a time.

What BIOS chip do you have? Award, AMI, etc.

Select the correct BIOS codes from: http://www.bioscentral.com/

thanks Triple6, it worked for a second but now its back to
    the three beeps.
before the emachine screen comes up there is something
    that reads
    AMI something something,.
it runs to fast for me to catch it..
lol.. i'll get it just for now ;) its time
to give it a break before it gets broke
    thanks again
