After downloading some software and re-booting as requested, I received the following message

"A required .DLL file, BEEXCORE.DLL, was not found."

How do I obtain this file?

I would suggest running an antivirus scan for that. There is no legitimate beexcore.dll that I can find. And the only mention of it at all is in association with a Kak worm infection.
