I need to solve another. My mouse cannot move bookmarks, or get urls to respond consistently when I click on them. Sometimes, they work on a page and sometimes they don't (this on-off deal is consistent; I can't get a successful click once and not successful the second time).
Once I can download previously suggested (by you guys) programs, maybe I can get my other problems fixed.

Hi There!

This may sound silly but.....

Have you tried using a different mouse?

Sometimes the "dip-switch" under the mouse button gets damaged and that can cause this exact problem. Try another mouse and it it solves the issue, you'll need to simply lighten up on the force you use to click the mouse!

I'm a gamer and I have gone through so many mice over the years, it's actually humorous!

Good Luck!
