Belkin Wireless Router problems

    1.) My friend told me that i should put a password on my wireless router.

    I have a belkin "2.4GHz - 802.11g Wireless" Model # -f5d7230-4
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
    2.) When i go Start> All Programs > Belkin > Belkin Wireless utility
    i get this error message [​IMG]

    How do i fix this?

    I assume that the router is working :D.
    If it's working then as far as i remember you can access the management side of the router via web browser ( something like http://192.168.100.1 ).
    At that point should be able to change the password.
    In case you're not able to "get in" , error message as " wrong password" shows up, the somewhere in the back of the router should have a "reset" button. After pressing it, the router will be reset to the factory defaults.
    If i remember correctly the user id will be admin and the password will be password ( double check with belkin.com for that one though)

    I had a problem with a Belkin wireless cutting in and out under full load.I solved it after many hours of trouble shooting. Bought a Dlink :(
