belkin wireless router

    can i use the belkin wireless router in the place of the wireless adapter to connect to the internet thank you much for your time

    Adapters connect to routers, so you need both.

    then a wireless router wont connect to another wireless router to connect to the internet?

    Some routers have a bridge function which allow them to connect to other routers wirelessly.

    This is more of a network question than "Miscellaneous Tech". You can request to have it moved, and one of the network pros can help you. You'll need to provide the complete make and model information for all networking hardware.

    FWIW, I've had very poor luck using the Belkin router's wireless bridge function with the primary router being a non-Belkin product. It seems they only want to work with another Belkin router.
