Best external 500GB HDD (on a budget)??

    Hi there,

    Looking to purchase the aforementioned product, can you recommend a reliable one? Not looking to spend too much but need something reliable as we'll be putting alot of digital photos on there.... lots of photos of our baby that if we lost, well I wouldn't know what to do, I'd be so upset. Is an external HDD the way to go or some other method??

    It Depends what you're going to use the External HDD for, because if you are going to use it for just pictures, then i would recomend a 250GB or less... 80GB at minimum.
    if you are going to store programs on there or use it as network storage go ahead with a 500GB .
    i can find u HDD'd depending on where you live
