Hi hope some one can help.

I am basically an online gamer in the UK who used to have cable and had no problems.

I moved house which has no cable and I can’t get it so I went with Virgin media but they have been unable to give me the service I require. They told me that the exchanged had been over subscribe and there was nothing they could do for me, so gave me my MAC code and we agreed amicably to part company.

So I’m now left searching for a new provider, due to my area and line I’m limited up to 6 Meg and have narrowed it down to two companies.

    http://www.ukonline.net/pro/?sso_auth=0
    &
    http://www.plus.net/residential/broadband/bbyw_pro.shtml

Now on the face of it Plusnet sounds better but only has a 10GB limit.

So two questions is any body with one of these guys? As I really would appreciate some feed back.

And can any body tell me what 10 GB equates to in terms of gaming use? 10 hours 20 ect. Or is that a question of how long is a piece of string?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and I apologise if there is a similar post but I couldn’t find it through the search.
