That Fake Delete sounds good, but I can't do it at work. We're networked. Or can I? Hmmmmm

Might try the mouse one later this afternoon. Is it just across the bottom?

    eddie,

just a piece across the bottom so the ball don't roll.......they did X on mine (two pieces) I guess they wanted to be sure.

Well mine aren't -nearly- as good as yours :) But I've got two, both ended rather badly though.
First one was in school when I was in about 3rd grade. We had a computer lab full of Macs (blah.) I put a password on the screen saver.....they couldn't load anything becase none of them even new the option existed. But before I could undo it the computer 'expert' came in with a start-up disk and tried to reset the computer. Then the monitor went to black and white and nothing worked. Oops.....:p

Second one wasn't by me. A friend of mine tried to freak his parents out by deleting some 'harmless' system files. The first one he deleted was himem.sys. The next day he couldn't load windows and got stuck in DOS.....lucky me I got to copy himem onto a disk and reload it onto his PC.

And I'll have to try switching the monitor cables sometime......sounds fun :)

    Dark Star,

Ya and your going to have fun with it are you not.:D

    LadyLisa,

    Your welcome

    eddie5659,

    Go for it.

Or do the Message Manager Lite or better yet the Message Manager Deluxe Version.
    http://www.rjlsoftware.com/software/utility/mm_deluxe/default.shtml

You can cool things with both but the Deluxe Version you can have it open even more message boxes or other programs.

Thanks Hewee... I need to try that soon... the mouse one too. :D :D :D :D I hate that school... it will be a good laugh. It's funny... every single extended break (more then 2 days) their server crashes and they also lose at least one hub and often need to replace it. (makes me think who is really doing the "networking" over there) :D

    deuce_mn,

That way you can see what they type and bring up the MS-DOS Prompt on there PC.
    Then say what ever like...
    Why?
    Who are you?
    What time is it?
    Endless fun you can have.

We took everything out of an old case and filled it with cement and sat it outside our office with a webcam on it to see how long it would sit there without being stolen...didn't last too long , about 6 at night (around a hour after our office closes), someone lugged that thing away....would have loved to see the looks when they found out.

They may have needed a boat anchor:)
